[SIBLEY, IA] – Heritage Bank N.A. is proud to announce Mike Reemtsma, a skilled banking professional with a strong focus in agribusiness, has a new office in Sibley, IA. Mr. Reemtsma is an Ag Relationship Manager with our Ag Banking team.
Reemtsma has committed his entire banking career to the agribusiness community. “Mike has worked with all aspects of farming, from livestock to real estate acquisition,” Iowa/South Dakota Market President Dave Brown said. “His broad-based knowledge and financial expertise make him a valuable resource for the bank as well as our agribusiness clients.”
As an Ag Relationship Manager in our unique Team of Three sales approach, Reemtsma is leading the development and growth of client relationships, with support from a Portfolio Manager and Business Associate. “Our team approach allows Mike the opportunity to be out on the farm interacting with his clients while the internal processes are being managed by professionals within the bank.” Brown said. “Building relationships is really key and we do that on a foundation of accuracy, efficiency and professionalism.”
With the office opening in Sibley, Heritage Bank extends its availability in northwestern Iowa. “Our objective is help farmers develop financial plans and strategies for their operations to remain viable for years to come,” Heritage Bank CEO Tom Geiger said. “The current farm economy is challenging, but we are used to agricultural cycles. We are in it for the long haul.”
Reemtsma has a degree from University of Sioux Falls and has dedicated over 12 years to the banking industry. He and his wife, Joni, along with their family, moved to Sibley in 2014. Mike is a member of the Sibley Kiwanis Club and the Vice President of Sibley Golf Course Commission.
